5 fun Date Night IN activities you can do with your Romance Candles!

Chances are if you are reading this post, you've been a welcomed guest at our studios with your partner and you've experienced one of our Couples Candle Making Workshops.
When you leave the studio, the romance should not stop... it should BEGIN! Everyone has taken the oath that when the candle is lit, Romance Is Expected! We have tons of ideas when it
comes to creating a romantic evening with your partner, but because we don't want to overwhelm you with too many options, we've narrowed it down to 5 Romantic activities that you can do while incorporating your custom made romance candle.
1. “The 10-Minute Reconnection”
When the candle is lit… phones go DOWN.
How it works:
Sit facing each other
One person talks for 5 minutes (no interruptions)
The other listens (no fixing, no advice)
Switch
Prompt ideas:
“What’s been on your mind lately?”
“What’s something you need more of right now?”
This one builds real emotional intimacy (and feels different from everyday convo)
2. “Candlelight Compliment Game”
When the candle is lit… we pour into each other.
How it works:
Each partner gives:
3 compliments (appearance, personality, effort)
1 appreciation (something specific they’ve done recently)
Add a twist:
You can’t repeat anything you’ve said before
This gets DEEP quickly (in a good way)
3. “Sip, Scent & Memory”
When the candle is lit… we revisit elements of our love story.
How it works:
Light the candle + pour a drink
Take turns answering:
“When did you first realize you liked me?”
“What’s one moment with me you’ll never forget?”
“What’s your favorite version of us?”
Bonus: Record your answers so that you will have a video to play when you need a reminder of who you love and why
4. “The 5 Love Languages Challenge”
When the candle is lit… love is intentional.
How it works: Each partner chooses ONE:
Words → write a short love note
Touch → 5-minute massage
Acts → do something helpful for them
Gifts → small surprise
Quality Time → uninterrupted convo
This activity turns love into action (not just words)
5. “After Dark Energy” (Keep it spicy but tasteful)
When the candle is lit… connection deepens.
How it works: Write 5 prompts on paper + pick randomly:
“Tell me something you’ve always wanted to try with me”
“What makes you feel most desired?”
“Recreate our first kiss”
“Describe your perfect night with me”
“Slow dance to one song together”
This keeps it fun, flirty, and elevated (not awkward) It turns love into action (not just words)
