Welcome to Neo Soul Sundays: Convo & Candles—an experience where fragrance, music, and meaningful conversation come together for an unforgettable evening at Above Average Candle Studio. It's a space to unwind, connect, laugh, reflect, and experience authentic conversations with great people. Your evening begins by creating your own signature fragrance and pouring a 4oz 100% Soy Massage Oil Candle. While your candle sets, the music turns up and the conversations begin. Guests can choose a pre-written relationship scenario—or anonymously write one of their own. No names. No judgment. SHARE YOUR PERSPECTIVE. A color is drawn before each discussion, encouraging participants to think beyond their own point of view and engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue. We also require all participants (in your party or group) to arrive on time. Doors open 30 minutes before your scheduled workshop. Please arrive early. We are VERY FIRM on this policy. You will have to reschedule if you arrive late. Please do not disrupt the vibe and try to enter the studio if you are late. There is NO GRACE period for this event. We do not offer refunds for late participants. We do offer class credits. You will have an entire calendar year to reschedule your experience. If Above Average Studio cancels your class for any reason, we will offer you a discount to reschedule or a full refund. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you via phone/email/text - Please keep in mind that we do NOT ANSWER calls during class sessions. Cancellation Policy
Booking Cancellation & Reschedule Policy At Above Average Candle Studio, every experience is thoughtfully prepared in advance — including staffing, materials, and reserved seating. Because of this, we ask all guests to review and respect the following policy before booking. Cancellations & Rescheduling Guests must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an experience. We will grant reschedule requests on the day of your choosing provided the class has space available. Cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations become Class Credits, Guests may reschedule their experience up to one (1) year from the original booking date. Guests may reschedule for a different experience. If the new experience has a higher price, a secure pay link will be sent for the price difference. No-Shows Guests who do not attend their scheduled experience and do not provide 24 hours’ notice will be considered a no-show and will forfeit their booking without refund or reschedule credit. By booking an experience with Above Average Candle Studio, you agree to this cancellation and reschedule policy. Chargeback Policy Chargebacks submitted for missed experiences, late arrivals, unavailable preferred booking dates, previous offered classes/experiences/workshops, late cancellations, or failure to follow the policy will be formally disputed. We will provide booking confirmations, timestamps, communication records, attendance logs, screenshots, and this posted policy to your payment processor. Our goal is always fairness, transparency, and great experiences — and this policy helps us continue offering high-quality, well-staffed workshops for every guest.
